The rise of video streaming services has made it nearly impossible to watch or even learn about every show that debuts in a given year. There were 599 shows in 2022, and even more were released on network and internet television in 2023. Even though there are too many shows, we’re here at unblockedgames66ez to assist you in navigating the tangled release calendar, with every major upcoming TV series in 2024.
A Glance Over Upcoming TV Series in 2024
There will be a ton of familiar people returning to your favorite franchises in 2024, and maybe some intriguing originals will make an appearance as the year goes on. Here are some things to look forward to in 2024 while you wait.
Echo
Releasing January 9 on Disney+
The first piece in Marvel’s “Spotlight” collection will be Echo. “Self-contained, character-driven stories that new fans can enjoy without watching other Marvel content” is how the Spotlight series is described in theory. In all likelihood, there are many more Marvel properties that meet the same criteria without this branding; additionally, Echo will follow the title character who made her debut and had a significant role in Hawkeye.
Putting meaningless labeling aside, Alaqua Cox had a strong performance in Hawkeye, and we can’t wait to see more of her in the upcoming film. It is announced that both Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will make a reappearance in the season.
When Echo premieres on January 9, all five episodes will be available at once, in contrast to the majority of other MCU programs.
Hazbin Hotel
Releasing January 19 on Prime Video
It’s rather hyper-specific, but if you’ve been waiting for A24 and Prime Video to collaborate on adult animation, this is your chance! In the new year, Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano’s beloved web series will be available on television.
Charlie Morningstar, princess of Hell, discovers that once a year, angels descend to her father’s domain to purge (read: killing) demons to address the issue of overpopulation. The show centers on Charlie as she strives to assist in rehabilitating devils and send them along to heaven. Oh, and did we mention that it’s a musical?
The cast of Hazbin Hotel includes Jeremy Jordan, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Keith David, Alex Brightman, Kimiko Glenn, Joel Perez, and Christian Borle in addition to Erika Henningsen as Morningstar and Stephanie Beatriz as her girlfriend Veggie.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Releasing February 2 on Prime Video
Even though Phoebe Waller-Bridge left the project due to creative disputes, the television series Mr. and Mrs. Smith continues. The show, which will be a reworking of the 2005 movie of the same name, will be directed by Francesca Sloane and starring Donald Glover.
Though the show’s creative process was a little bumpy behind the scenes, rumors about it are positive. Glover’s John will be paired with Maya Erskine as Jane Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith will be available on Prime Video simultaneously, allowing you to binge whenever it suits you best.
Abbott Elementary Season 3
Releasing February 7 on ABC
Filming on Abbott Elementary was delayed by many months due to strikes by writers and actors, but the show is still expected to premiere on time. Naturally, “on schedule” in this context just refers to the time it aired the previous year. In any case, we’re thrilled to have our beloved professors back on TV!
As of the writing of this article, all of the main cast is scheduled to return, and there is no indication that cord-cutters won’t be able to watch on Hulu as usual the following day.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Releasing February 22 on Netflix
The eagerly awaited live-action Netflix production of Avatar: The Last Airbender is almost here. Similar to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, there were some difficult behind-the-scenes events in this one as well. For example, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the original creators of ATLA, departed the project because they felt their vision was not being supported.
Even though fans have been waiting a long time for a live-action adaptation (no, the Shyamalan film does not qualify), it is difficult not to hope for the success of the series despite DiMartino and Konietzko’s exit from it. I apologize, Ms. Night.
Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko are all set to appear in the series. Even though the Netflix adaptation veers away from the original’s concept, it appears that we will still have to wait until Season 2 to see Toph.
Shōgun
Releasing February 27 on Hulu
The second adaptation of James Clavell’s 1975 novel of the same name will debut on Hulu with Shōgun. The plot centers on John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), who finds himself shipwrecked in Japan during the feudal era. He will become involved with Lady Mariko (Anna Sawai) and the formidable daimyo Lord Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada).
Invincible Season 2 Part 2
Releasing “Early” 2024 on Prime Video
To be honest, I have no idea why a show that took so long to release its second season would choose to divide it into two halves, but that is precisely what has occurred with Invincible. Although the precise release date is yet unknown, the remainder of the eagerly anticipated Season 2 should arrive early in 2019.
Fallout
Releasing April 12 on Prime Video
In 2024, the eagerly anticipated TV adaptation of the well-liked computer game Fallout will finally debut. Ella Purnell, a former member of the Yellowjackets, plays Lucy in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. The survivors of nuclear catastrophe are forced below, but may there be more activity above ground than they realize? Next April, we’ll find out! Let’s just hope that each episode has an ample amount of dog meat, regardless of what occurs.

House of the Dragon Season 2
Releasing “Summer” 2024 on Max
Season 2 of House of the Dragon brings back the dragons and their untidy human counterparts to a complex political dance. The size of the production meant we always knew there would be a long delay between seasons, but fans have been clamoring for the return of the drama centered around Targaryen. In the new year, Matt Smith, Olivia Cook, Emma D’Arcy, and pretty much every other person who made it through Season 1 will be back with all-new friendships, betrayals, and, yeah, dragon antics.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Releasing on Prime Video
After last year’s revelation of Sauron, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power picks up where the story left off with the return of the elves, harfoots, and dwarves of Middle-earth. The exact return date of Queen Regent Miriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova), Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), and the rest of the ensemble cast is unknown, although we may assume it will happen in 2024.
The Spiderwick Chronicles
Releasing on The Roku Channel
After Disney abandoned the project, the Roku Channel will take over and launch a brand-new adaptation of the cherished Spiderwick Chronicles book series. For those who are not familiar with the original work, the narrative centers on the Grace Family and the intricate faerie tales that start when they relocate to their ancestral house after a family member passes away. Although the release date is still unknown, 2024 seems like a good guess because we already know the film has been completed and is essentially complete.
The Acolyte
Releasing on Disney+
Who wants some High Republic goodness with a hint of evil? Because The Acolyte, the next Star Wars series, will provide precisely that. Many of the series’ details are still being kept under wraps by Lucasfilm, but we do know that it will star Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Carrie-Anne Moss and that it will reportedly have more Jedi than any other Star Wars program or film. We’ll simply have to wait and see what surprises this one may have in store.
Skeleton Crew
Releasing on Disney+
That’s correct, two undefined Star Wars projects are expected to be released in 2024. But Skeleton Crew appears to be The Acolyte’s complete opposite. Skeleton Crew will, as far as we know, have a relatively limited focus on the Jedi, whereas the former will be full of Sith-y deliciousness. As of right now, all we know is that four children will take on more than they can handle and end up trapped in deep space and that characters played by Jude Law and Kerry Condon will somehow become involved.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos/Darkhold Diaries/Whatever They Change It To Next
Releasing on Disney+
It’s all so funny, this name change thing until you have to report for the damn show! In any case, 2024 will also see the release of what is almost certainly going to be dubbed Agatha All Along, even though Coven of Chaos would have been a far better title. When it comes to storyline elements, we don’t even know the name of the program, so who knows what we can believe? However, Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness is returning, and she’ll be accompanied by Aubrey Plaza’s as-yet-unnamed witch and a few more eerie companions.
X-Men ‘97
Releasing on Disney+
To be honest, what are we even doing here if Disney+ doesn’t release X-Men ’97 on Saturday mornings? Sometime in 2024, the eagerly anticipated continuation of the cherished X-Men animation from the 1990s will debut on streaming services. Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alison Sealy-Smith, Adrian Hough, Christopher Britton, and Alyson Court are just a few of the original cast members who will be making a comeback. Ten episodes make up the series, and if rumors about it are to be believed, Season 2 is currently in production.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Will Be Available on Disney+
Spider-Man: Freshman was first Sometime in 2024, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man—whose moniker, let’s face it, was a better one—will make an appearance on Disney+. Although the exact date is unknown, it will likely take place after X-Men 97. Even though this will be again another origin tale, perhaps they have some enjoyable, unique ideas up their sleeves given their intention to honor the classic Spider-Man comics.
Marvel Zombies
Releasing on Disney+
According to current plans, Marvel Zombies will only be a four-episode miniseries. The popular Marvel Zombies episode is examined in further detail in this spin-off series, which is loosely based on Iman Vellani’s portrayal of Kamala Khan. Like many other titles that are still in development, not much is known at this time. However, there’s a lot to be thrilled about here because Vellani is a captivating wonder and fans enjoyed the notion from the taste of Marvel Zombies they got back in Season 1 of What If…?
Creature Commandos
Releasing on Max
You’re not the only one who is ignorant about the Creature Commandos, so don’t worry! In essence, Amanda Waller—still Viola Davis, since James Gunn is a wise man—assembles another black ops team, only this time, it’s composed of monsters! Frank Grillo, Maria Bakalova, Alan Tudyk, David Harbour, Sean Gunn, and Steve Agee will all provide voice roles in the series. Gunn’s vision for these characters, which called for them to alternate between live-action and animated productions depending on what the new DC Universe needed, informed the casting decisions. We won’t understand what that implies, though, for a while.
What is known is that, although Superman: Legacy is supposed to be the beginning of the story and won’t be out until 2025, this series is still scheduled for 2024 and is intended to be a part of Gunn’s DCU Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. Though he’s confusing us, we can’t wait to see it when it does eventually come out!
Harley Quinn Season 5
Releasing on Max
Season 5 of HBO’s Harley Quinn series continues to progress! With the arrival of the Gotham City Sirens in the previous season, how can we not be eager for more? The usual black humor of the show was mixed with some deeper topics in Season 4, and considering the show’s history, we can only hope for better things next year.
My Adventures With Superman Season 2
Releasing on Max
We thoroughly enjoyed the first season of My Adventures With Superman, and we eagerly anticipate the return of the Smallville nerd in the next season. Other than the knowledge that it is happening and that it will most likely occur in 2024, there are practically no other specifics available at this time.
The Penguin
Releasing on Max
Since 2022, when The Batman blew us all away, this one has been simmering. The show will follow Colin Farrell’s Penguin as he ascends to power in Gotham, as the title would have you believe. Note that this is not the second Batman spinoff that will center on Jeffrey Wright’s James Gordon and Arkham Asylum. That show, The Batman, is also regarded as an Elseworlds story in James Gunn’s DCU.
.. It will be necessary for us to create a timeframe for this world before the damn thing officially starts!
In any case, The Penguin is coming in 2024, and we’re excited about that as well as the unnamed Arkham project.
Alien
Releasing on Hulu
Who in Congress should we approach about enacting legislation that forbids giving projects in the same world the same name as something else that has previously occurred there?
Anyhow! A new program called Alien is on the way. It’s just named Alien because someone determined that we should all be extremely puzzled in a boardroom. Apart from the annoying name conventions, this has a lot to be enthusiastic about! The show will take place thirty years before the events of the original Alien movie (I promise I’m not trying to name-drop anything but come on people!). Showrunner Noah Hawley is in charge of the series, which will feature Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, and other actors.
Interview with the Vampire Season 2
Releasing on AMC
Naturally, I’m exempt from the earlier diatribe about the same name for adaptations. The second adaptation of Anne Rice’s vampire novel of the same name, Interview with the Vampire on AMC, is a contemporary reimagining of the book. We don’t know when Season 2 of this show will premiere in 2024, so you still have plenty of time to watch it! More people should watch this show!
Sam Reid as Lestat and Jacob Anderson as Louis have outstanding performances in the series. The two characters are as vicious and nasty as ever, which makes for a stunning, graphic, and expertly done-interpretation of Rice’s tale. As their relationship grows more turbulent than ever, Season 2 promises to ratchet things up a notch. And there’s more murder!
Chucky Season 3 Part 2
Releasing on USA Network
Speaking of murder (and hurriedly dividing short seasons into two halves), Chucky Season 3 will return sometime in 2024. One of the few on the list that is a network television show rather than a streamer is Chucky, but you can still see it on Peacock the following day.
The Boys Season 4
Releasing on Prime Video
The Boys Season 4 is almost approaching, therefore it’s okay that the majority of the Gen V crew is imprisoned in a room without doors. “Right around the corner” refers to how soon? We don’t know for sure, but it will undoubtedly happen in 2024, and a lot of f*&cked up shenanigans will undoubtedly occur. America has a new President and First Lady, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is dying because he got too high on V24, and Homelander (Antony Starr) is most likely dead if the trailer’s clues are to be believed. Although the final item on the list may seem unremarkable, heads will definitely turn when you learn that Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) is the First Lady.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4
Releasing on Netflix
Whether you’re ready or not, it’s almost time to bid the Hargreeves family farewell. Although the release date and other details for Season 4 are still pending, we do know that it will be a shortened season with just six episodes. Elliott Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampmann, Robert Sheehan, and Aiden Gallagher are among the main cast members who will be back for the climactic episode.
There you go, guys! Every major upcoming TV shows on which you should keep an eye on.
