There were many fun things to do on Pokemon Day 2016, but for many die-hard players, the most exciting things were the Virtual Console releases of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow, as well as the announcement of Pokemon Sun and Moon, the first games in Generation 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pokemon brand turned 25 years old in 2021, and that year also had one of the best Pokemon Days ever. On that day, Pokemon fans got news about new and old games, like New Pokemon Snap. They also learned about the remakes of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl for Generation 4, and they were told about Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was a big step forward for the series. It was one of the best-reviewed new Pokemon games in years, thanks in large part to its more open-ended gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
